QUIZ BATTLE – PRIVACY POLICY Last Updated: 03.12.2025 Data Controller: Developer MyApp Vision 1. Introduction This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how the Quiz Battle mobile game (“Game”, “we”) provided by the developer MyApp Vision collects, uses and protects the personal data of its users (“you”, “user”). The Game offers features such as: • Sign-in with Google or Apple credentials, • Multiplayer rooms, adding friends and sending invitations, • Virtual economy based on gold and diamonds, • Farm system, • Daily rewards, rewarded ads to speed up fields, • Display of ads via Unity Ads, • Display of ads via Admob, • Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Analytics, Cloud Messaging) infrastructure. By installing and using the Game, you declare that you have read this Policy and accept the data processing activities described herein. 2. Types of Data We Collect We generally collect data in the following categories: 2.1. Account and Identity Data • Basic information provided via your Google/Apple account (such as your name or nickname, e-mail address, profile picture URL, unique user ID – to the extent permitted by the relevant platform). • Your in-game username, profile picture, country or language preference. 2.2. In-Game Data • Questions you answer, number of correct/incorrect answers, whether you pass milestones, your total scores. • Game room information (which room you play in, room ID, in-room ranking, etc.). • Your gold and diamond balances, the amounts of virtual currency you earn/spend. • Your farm (fields) status: the crops you plant, harvest times, progress. • Virtual items you purchase or earn (jokers, profile items, etc.). • Your friends list and friend relationships (in-game user IDs). 2.3. Technical Data • Device model, operating system and version, device language and country setting, screen resolution, etc. • IP address and approximate location information (country/region), • App version, crash reports and error logs. 2.4. Usage and Analytics Data • Number of sessions, session duration, which screens you visit and how often, which modes and features you use, • Ad impressions (number of views, clicks, watch time, etc.) and when you watch rewarded ads, • These are mostly processed in aggregate/statistical form via Firebase Analytics and the analytics tools of advertising networks. 2.5. Notification Data • The notification token assigned to your device so that we can send push notifications; this is used to deliver your friends’ game invitations and similar notifications. We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (such as health information, political opinions, religion, etc.) and we kindly ask you not to share such data within the Game. 3. For What Purposes Do We Use Your Data? We use the collected data for the following purposes: 3.1. Providing the Service and Managing Your Account • To create your account and provide your login, • To create game rooms and match you with other players, • To record and display your in-game progress (questions, milestones, scores, gold/diamonds, farm status, jokers). 3.2. Friendship and Invitation Features • To manage your friends list and carry out friend add/remove processes, • To send a push notification, if you have notification permission, when your friends invite you to the Game. 3.3. Ad Display and Rewarded Ads • To display regular and rewarded ads via advertising networks such as Unity Ads, • To grant you the corresponding in-game reward (fast harvest, daily reward, gold/diamonds, etc.) when you watch a rewarded ad, • To manage the necessary consent processes for personalized ads in accordance with applicable law. 3.4. Analytics, Development and Security • To monitor the performance of the Game, server load and errors, • To improve the Game by analyzing which modes and features are used more, • To detect cheating, misuse, attacks and abuse attempts. 3.5. Legal Obligations and Exercise of Rights • To fulfill our legal obligations (such as keeping records, responding to requests from competent authorities), • To respond to claims, resolve legal disputes and protect our rights. 4. Legal Bases Depending on the legislation of the country you are in, we may process your personal data on the following legal bases: • Where it is necessary to provide the Game and perform the contract (e.g. to operate your account, to allow you to join rooms), • Our legitimate interests in improving the service (error analysis, cheat detection, statistics), • Your explicit consent for ad personalization and certain types of notifications, • Legal obligations for retaining certain records. 5. With Whom Do We Share Data? 5.1. Technology Partners and Service Providers • Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Analytics, Cloud Messaging): Used for authentication, data storage, analytics and notification processes. • Unity Ads and similar advertising networks: Used for ad display and rewarded ads; these networks may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. • Google Admob and similar advertising networks: Used for ad display and rewarded ads; these networks may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. These third parties provide services on our behalf and in line with our instructions; they are required to protect your data in accordance with contractual obligations. 5.2. Other Players • Your in-game username, profile picture, scores and in-room performance can be seen by other players in the same room. • Your contact information such as e-mail address is not shared with other users within the Game. 5.3. Public Authorities • We may be required to share your data with relevant public institutions in line with legal requirements or binding administrative/judicial decisions. 5.4. No Sale of Data • We do not “sell” your data to third parties and do not transfer it to independent advertising networks for marketing purposes. • Data collected via the SDKs of advertising networks is subject to their own privacy policies; providers such as Unity Ads and Admob state that they comply with applicable data protection laws and grant users certain rights over their personal data. 6. International Data Transfers Some service providers, such as Firebase and Unity Ads, may process your data on servers located outside the EU (for example, in the USA). In such cases, we strive to take appropriate technical and contractual measures required by the applicable data protection legislation (such as data processing agreements, standard contractual clauses, etc.). 7. Data Retention Periods • As long as your Game account is active, your in-game data (scores, gold/diamonds, farm status, friends, etc.) may be retained. • If you wish to delete your account, we will make reasonable efforts to delete a significant portion of your personal data within a reasonable time; however, due to legal obligations and security purposes, some logs and records may need to be retained for longer. • Analytics data may be anonymized or aggregated for statistical purposes. 8. Your Rights Depending on the country you are in, you may generally have the following rights: • The right to learn what data is being processed about you, • The right to request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, • The right to request deletion of your data when legal conditions are met, • The right to object to or request restriction of certain processing activities, • The right to withdraw your consent for processing activities based on consent (for example, changing your preferences for ad personalization or notifications). Children’s Privacy The Game is not designed for children under the age of 13, and we do not intend to knowingly collect personal data from users under 13. If it is determined that you are under 13 years of age, your account and data may be deleted within a reasonable period of time. If you are a parent or legal guardian and have concerns about data you believe your child has shared with us, please contact us. 10. Security • To protect your data, we use reasonable technical and administrative measures such as the security features offered by Firebase, authentication, access controls and encryption where possible. • However, you should be aware that no transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. If you notice any suspected security breach, you should contact us. 11. Preferences: Notifications and Ad Personalization • When you first open the application or later via your device’s system settings, you can grant or withdraw notification permission. Disabling notifications may cause you to miss game invitations and some important announcements. • You can manage your preferences regarding ad personalization from your device settings (ad tracking permission) or, where available, from the privacy/personal data section within the Game. Unity Ads and Google Admob offer users options such as opting out of personalized ads in order to comply with various data protection laws. 12. Changes to This Policy This Policy may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be accessible from within the application or via a web address we provide. Your continued use of the Game after changes means that you accept the updated Policy. 13.
